We display the entire shutter showroom to you so you can select the shutters that complement your décor perfectly – without leaving your Chicago residence. And we custom make and install those exact shutters not only to fit your windows perfectly, but also to move without a hitch.
Our Process: We Bring the Showroom to You
Our design and installation professionals bring samples of all the shutter products we have and meet with you in your home to walk you through the steps to choosing what best serves your needs. We take measurements of each window you’re considering shuttering during the shutter design consultation. This allows us to generate a more precise estimate of the cost for you.
Then, we lay out the shutter products side by side and answer any questions you may have.
We fan out the samples of the available paints and stains. Polywood® shutters can be custom-painted, and Ovation® shutters are offered in 28 wood stain colors and 11 paint colors.
Once you’ve selected the shutters that match your style and meet your needs, you’ll want to consider whether you’d rather have a hidden tilt rod or a rear-mount tilt rod, a smaller louver or a larger one, a Z frame or a casing frame style.
We record your project’s measurements and submit your shutter order to be made. And we keep you posted on the estimated time of your new shutters’ arrival – so you know when to expect them.
Finally, we have a trained installation crew come out to your Chicago house and set up your window treatment with great care, making sure each part moves without a hitch. That’s because we believe that proper installation is almost as essential as the product itself.
